BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS!
We are MOVING to 3853 N. Southport Avenue in Lakeview beginning in November, so any future appointment will be held at THAT LOCATION from then on! More details to follow...
Hi, my name is Jaye Wingstrom, LMT. If you are looking for unpretentious, soothing (yet practical), safe & ethical, clinical and medically-based, results-oriented massage therapy/bodywork by a compassionate practitioner who uses an anatomy-centered approach to pain relief, you're in the right place: Knowing what it takes to achieve that balance between working out the knots and getting you into the ‘zone' is my #1 priority. "Every body is unique", and naturally my aim is to tailor your treatment to reflect that.
Attentive luxury: As a sole practitioner, I possess an authentic interest in your well-being and have created a simple urban sanctuary amid the hubbub of Chicago. By engaging sound kinesiological principles, I offer what I believe to be essential components of total wellness without the use of gimmicks, gizmos, wizardry, ergonomic devices, or hocus-pocus. You are also guaranteed the promised treatment time: a 60-minute massage means that you'll receive one hour of session time, not 40 or 50 minutes like some other businesses that pull a bait-and-switch on you...(definitely very lame). Your session will never feel rushed, and I will take the time to listen to you, make sure your requests are addressed, customize your session to your goals, and answer any questions you may have. You might have a difficult time achieving long-lasting results from high-turnover franchises and group couponing sites, which is why investing in independent practitioners who typically have several years of industry experience is the way to go!
A convenient and quiet location in the Lakeview neighborhood: A trip to cloud 9 awaits you within the Fuga Salon and Spa on the 2nd floor, which is where our practice is located. It is a skip and a jump down from the Irving Park bus stop, and a 12-minute walk north from the Southport CTA stop. We are basically across the street from Blaine school.
When a chiropractic adjustment, physical therapy, and/or other complementary health approaches still have not offered you complete relief that lasts, it may be time to add clinical massage therapy into your treatment plan. Blending Neuromuscular Reprogramming techniques into a massage therapy session streamlines your treatment and produces results faster. I also address and assess your nervous system in the process--a keystone to staying pain free.

Or, if you just want to chill, I also offer regular deep-tissue massage therapy. It is always up to you!
